Services: Activities and Events

Co-curricular and extracurricular activities, excursions, and events are important components of all special programs.

The following activities and services are included in most special programs:

• Welcome reception
  
• Program orientation
  
• Group photo
  
• Campus tour
  
• Downtown city tour
  
• At least one educational, sightseeing, or shopping excursion
  
• Admission fees for all program activities
  
• Access to PSU computer labs
  
• End of program ceremony
  
• Certificate of completion

Additional or optional activities, such as those listed below can be included in any program.

Educational & Cultural Activities,
Museums, historical sites, industry/company tours, guest speakers, school visits, PSU events, community events and cultural festivals, community service or volunteer activities.

Recreational and Sports Events
NBA basketball, major league baseball, PSU sports events, PSU gym pass, swimming, ice skating, skiing, rafting, a boat ride on the Willamette river, camping, hiking, picnics & BBQs, etc.

Excursions
Portland area sightseeing attractions, the Oregon Coast, waterfalls, Mt. Hood, Crater Lake, Seattle, Native American indian resort, outlet mall shopping, etc.
